Empathize

A closer look into our users

Ideate

Navigating through iCutters

Based on the following user stories, I created a user flow diagram to visualize how users will navigate the app to accomplish their goals.

"As a new user, I want to to browse through categories and add products to either the cart or favorites"

"As a new user, I wish to proceed to an easy checkout"

"As a new user, I want to ask questions, request help and receive answers in real time"

Design

Mid-Fidelity Wireframes

After the sketches, I moved on to make mid-fidelity wireframes. This helped me work on more details (Copy, UI elements). I made sure to follow visual hierarchy principles and a grid design.

User flow: Add an item to the cart.

Visual Style Guide

Bringing everything together

Based on my mood board and by applying visual design principles, I created a style guide to summarize the app’s important design elements.
